A Tradition Wedding | Mike & Joanna

A beautiful fall wedding that is centered around tradition.  This tradition wedding tied in Polish traditions from the bride and tradition from an American wedding from the groom.  Joanna’s family originated from Poland and the surrounding area, so it was important for her to incorporate some of the Polish wedding traditions.  A few traditions that took place are, the family blessing prior to the wedding ceremony, some of the prayers read during the ceremony were spoken in Polish, the coin throw as the couple exited the church, sharing a loaf and the choosing of either the shot of water or the shot of vodka.  It was such a neat twist on the typical wedding we are used to.  Every part of the day included something a little different but so much fun!
