Backyard Wedding | Tyler and Megan

Where to begin.  As Jessica and I arrived to start photographing Tyler and Megan’s wedding, both of our jaws hit the ground.  We were speechless to how beautifully detailed and unique Tyler and Megan’s wedding was.  Their wedding was a true “Backyard Wedding.”  Both the ceremony and the reception took place at Tyler’s parents’ home, the place he grew up.  The ceremony was set up underneath a collection of large trees in the front yard with lanterns, string and flowers hanging from the branches.  The whole scene was straight out of a dream!

The details surrounding the ceremony site was so mesmerizing.  There was a memory tree, lemonade stand, their guest bench for their guests to sign and flowers that put my flower garden to shame.

In between the ceremony and reception, guests enjoyed the lemonade stand, lawn games, the coffee bar and live music.

The reception details were just as beautiful as the ceremony’s.  The reception took place in the backyard of Tyler’s parents house.  The dinner tables were set up on the lawn and the dance floor was lite by the most dreamy chandelier.  Every girls dream is to dance underneath the stars, well their wedding reception was a real life version of all of our girlie dreams!

I am still doing happy dances over the beautiful details at their wedding.  Besides he details, I will truly never forget the kind hearts of both of their families.  Right as we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms.  They always made sure we had what we needed and were a big help when we needed their family to help with our scavenger hunt 🙂 🙂

Tyler and Megan were two beautiful people who shared love to tightly together.  They cherish each other and live for each other.  It has been such an honor to be able to document such a beautiful love and a beautiful wedding!
