New Years Wedding | Ricky & Trisha

We were so excited to have been asked to photograph Ricky and Trisha’s New Years Wedding!  A first for us!  We have never photographed a New Years wedding before, but it was definitely a treat!  Trisha and I go WAYY back, to the days of riding on the bus together, so besides being a first, it was also bitter sweet!

Trisha envisioned Mint and Silver, with elegance and glitter.  Her beautiful details were brought to life perfectly during the ceremony and the reception, all held at The Jefferson Inn.  The bridesmaids were dressed in mint mix match dresses from Target, with light grey pumps. The gentlemen were dressed in grey suits from Campbell & Haines.  Trisha walked to her soon-to-be husband, in her Mori Lee gown from Elegant Occasions and her handmade broach boutique, that fit her perfectly!  It added a vintage, elegant glow.

After they said “I do” the couple greeted each of their guests.  After dinner, Trisha and Ricky enjoyed the tastes of the sweets that were made by Sugar n’ Spice.  With the music beginning by Beautiful Day DJ, everyone started preparing for the New Year!  Hats, beads and noise makers were worn and held by everyone in the room.  As the clock rolled over midnight, balloons dropped and floated over all of the kissing couples!!  It truly will be a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
