Corey + Melissa | Nine Mile Engagement

The first time I sat down with Melissa, I knew Melissa & Corey were going to be laid back, easy going and above all, welcoming. I love couples like these two, we feel more relaxed and motivated to have a couple who is as open as we are.

For Corey and Melissa’s engagement session, we chose Nine Mile Forestry as their backdrop. It was getting to the end of fall, so we wanted to make sure we had a setting that did not make it feel too bare. However, as I arrived to scope the area I knew it would so awesome if it would just snow a little bit to get that really neat snow effect in their engagement photographs. Guess what…. It did just that. As we were just about to wrap things up, the clouds opened and these large white flakes fell from the sky. It made our surrounding look like one big snow globe! Made me want to do a happy dance!!

We had so much fun together, can not wait to celebrate their June wedding next year!
