Mark + Alison | Backyard Wedding

I was so excited when Alison contacted me about photographing their wedding.  The excitement they have about each other and about their wedding made me excited!  Their ceremony was set at the beautiful St. Anne’s church in Wausau.  It was such a beautiful ceremony, with the bride’s relation performing the major parts of the ceremony.

After the ceremony, the limo collected the wedding party and brought them to the on location point, Blue Gill Landing.  From their, the cocktail hour began at the reception, which happened to be the place that Alison grew up.  A tent was up in the backyard, lawn games were out and Hors d’oeuvre were served.  The musical quartet circled the reception site, serenading the guests.  The tent was filled with green and purple, colors that represented Alison’s love of the Packers and Mark’s love of the Vikings!  What an amazing way to incorporate their favorite football teams!

As the night danced on, music filled the neighborhood by Midwest Sounds.  We will never forget that magical night!
