Easter Rejoice

Easter is more than just Easter bunnies, candy and large meals, it is about rejoicing about the life God has given to us.  His one and only sun died for us, so we may be free from sin, Easter Sunday is when he rose, we believed and we were free.  Free from sin is powerful.  We have so many tangible things in our lives, it really is important for us to look at what our priorities are and what we live for.

We all have been truly blessed in this life, with friends, family, careers and roofs over our heads.  Sometimes we forget to think about the little things in life that make it so great!  Like green lights, a warm cup of coffee, the sun shining, four seasons, a warm bed to sleep in or even little nieces.  I am so grateful for all of those!  Especially today.  Give thanks, God is good, and you are great!  We all are special in the eyes of the Lord, and we all have a purpose.  Find your calling and be grateful and rejoice!

Speaking of little things, my sister’s family came to visit, which means I got to see my niece.  Watching her run around finding her Easter eggs, makes me so happy.  I think about the years that have gone by, the days I use to find eggs as a little girl, and how excited I am to be able to watch K search for her own!  She is such a little peanut with so much personality!  I am grateful!  🙂
