I LOVE MY FAMILY!

I love this time of year.  I get to spend A LOT of time with my family.  It brings back so many memories.  Going back in the woods, finding the perfect tree, watching my dad climb half way up the tree to cut it down.  Playing Neil Diamond Christmas music while we all decorate the Christmas tree (Green Bay Packers on the muted television).

Christmas brings warmth, happiness, family and laughter.  This time of year reminds me how much I LOVE MY FAMILY!  I know that our families are not chosen, they are given, and I have to say I am so blessed to have the family I do.  We may not be perfect, but we certainly will be there for one another.  We argue, but our love brings us that much closer to each other.

About a week ago my family embarked on our family tradition, Christmas tree time.  This year we brought along a new addition.  This is not Katherine’s first Christmas, but it is kind of her first Christmas she will remember…. kind of a big deal!  She helped pick out her kinda “first” Christmas tree.  🙂

Too bad there was no snow, but hey, at least we had good weather, it made picture taking that much more fun!  Enjoy our memories!
