Will & Claire | Heartfelt Oshkosh Wedding

Honestly, I sat at my computer screen for a long time, trying to find the BEST words to sum up everything I am feeling about Claire and Will’s wedding.  C & W’s  wedding is by far a wedding I will never forget. Why?  Well, for many reasons.  First of all, the details.  The details were very simple, but were exactly what made this wedding so perfect.

Quilt squares lined the Center Isle of the church and yellow flowers wrapped each pew.  As guests entered the church there was a table set out with quilt squares for the quests to sign.  These quilt squares will be put together to make a quilt for Claire and Will to cherish forever.  The details at the reception were perfectly added as well.  Empty tea containers sat at each table, except for the head table.  Right in front of where the bride and groom sat was Starbucks mugs.  Will works at Starbucks, so Starbucks plays a major role in the two of their lives.

Besides the details, this wedding hit me emotionally.  As a photographer, I love to capture feeling, and let me tell you, this wedding made the hair on my arms stand up.

The moment I arrived at the hair salon that morning, Claire was as bubbly as she always is.  I would describe her as down to earth, carefree, caring, relaxed, and very happy.  She brings a vibe to a room that makes everyone relaxed and happy.  She makes you feel welcome!  Will is exactly the same.  He seems to be a person who would always lend a hand, and seems to always be there to pick you up.  With all of these wonderful characteristics, the relationship they have built, speaks volumes!

A lot of who they are was incorporated into the wedding day.  Claire and Will are runners, so during their portrait shots, we stopped at one of their favorite trails.  The ladies wore Toms, which I found to be appropriate, comfortable shoes for athletes.

Claire and Will express the meaning of love and throughout the whole night, love was in the air.
