Thank You! | Wedding Memories

I started really enjoying photography during the first year of my college career.  I never once imagined I would be where I am today.

Last year at this time, I was nervous, anxious, excited, determined, afraid, willing, and most of all, grateful.  It all started with a passion for capturing a moment I wanted to always remember, eventually it ended up being a passion for capturing your story.  Of all the ups and down, life lessons, and failures, I would not be where I am today if it was not for all of you.

In the very beginning, I doubted a lot of what I was doing, afraid that I was not good enough, or that what I created was not going to be liked.  It was all of you that gave me the encouragement to continue, your thoughtful comments, and your meaningful critiques allowed me to learn from my mistakes.  Throughout this past year, I have met so many wonderful people, and got to be a part of so many families.  I have  never felt so welcome or motivated in my life.

One of the key things I am going to take out of this last year, is to always be myself.  In the beginning I was changing myself to fit the needs of others, but as I continued on through the year, I realized people chose me for who I am and what I can do.  I have a passion for what I do, and all of you, who gave me the chance, where able to see that.  YOU are the reason for my growth, YOU are the reason for a new year.  I could not be more grateful to all of the people in my life, and to all of you, that I was able to work so closely with, to capture your story.  Thank you for making a difference in my life, you all taught me something new!
